Salir do Porto is a quaint village situated just outside Sao Martinho do
Porto. It has a typical village feel with a scattering of bars and shops and a
cash point machine. There is a public outdoor swimming pool (seasonal) and a
small nightclub has just been opened. A short stroll downhill brings you to
Salirs beach - enjoying views over to Sao Martinho do Porto. Savour a cool drink
at the beach bar and climb the sand dune which is almost 49 metres high and
quite famous. There is a boardwalk through to Sao Martinho do Porto which takes
approx 20 minutes through the dunes.
